Um…hi? July 14, 2009

So I really have no idea if any of my readers before are going to read this, but it’s worth a shot. I might kind of possibly miss blogging. I mean, it is fun, really. Albeit, I am glad for the break I took. Like really glad. Sometimes one just needs a break, ya know. Well, I had told a couple people that I’d like to take blogging back up in August when school starts, but I was thinking that maybe it wouldn’t hurt to take it back up now. I can’t promise to post often. I honestly don’t know how much I’ll be posting.
Now that I’ve got all that said, I ought to say something interesting…
Well….
Have you guys seen the New Moon trailer. It’s good for the lolz. My goodness, what is it with Bella? She’s all, “Kiss me” with this uber-freaky quirk of her eyebrow. That sure as anything did not look like a romantic moment. What it looked like was Bella seducing Edward. And, hehe, the facial expressions Eddie-Baby makes in that trailer. I can’t even pick one. He makes so many. Gotta love RPattz for his facial expressions. Big mood lifters they are.
Eh, I just realized that the New Moon trailer is fairly old news. I need to think of something else interesting.
Well, it’s 11:15 PM over here in sunny Florida. Kellie Pickler is singing “Red High Heels.” I’ve been thinking about things that somehow manage to be scarier than I am. (I’d like to think that I have a semblance of freakiness about me. I’m a writer. I should be able to give off that aura of general freakiness and oddness.) So…that which is freakier than me…
1. Adam Lambert
2. Adam Lambert singing “Ring of Fire.” (I would link it, but it’s just so frightening. It’s only my first day back blogging, and I’d really rather not be responsible for any emotional scarring of my readers. Oh…I already mentioned Eddie-Baby. Yes, I can see how he is emoti0nally scarring.)
3. Barney (He’s a purple dinosaur. So help me–When I have kids, they are not watching that show.)
4. People who attempt (and utterly fail) at doing their own versions of Josh Groban’s songs. (People need to understand that there are some notes that they should not attempt.)
5. The fact that there are people who eat haggis. (Don’t know what that is? Eh, you’re better off in your ignorance.)
So did you notice that Eddie-Baby was not on that list? Haha. That’s because he’s not freakier than me. He wishes he were. I mean, besides the fact that Edward displays some stalkerish qualities, he’s really not that scary. He sparkles. Sparkles are not scary and prevent me from taking him seriously in any way.
Sleepily yours and glad to have posted,
Jess

Yeah you posted! And I love that list. I think Eddie Baby is less scary than you, you’re right
Ummm…. I might add Ricky the Sword to that list too.
YAY! I love you muchly.
Adam is freaky. But I love him muchly anyway. I loved Ring of Fire….
Barney is actually outlawed in our house. Hope isn’t allowed to watch it. I adored him as a kid, and look what happened.
As for the “kiss me” scene….. My friends and I died laughing at it. The only reason it’s worth watching the trailer is for laughs….. and a shirtless Taylor Lautner.
Haha, I was listening to Ring of Fire as I read this
You should go to YouTube and check out the fangirls who posted up videos of their reactions to the New Moon trailer. One girl screamed, laughed, cried, and bit her nails all in the 2.5 minutes or whatever.
Eek, I forgot about Ricky. He is a scary one.
I forgot to mention the shirtless Taylor Lautner… I’m afraid I enjoyed that more than I should have.
Eek, the trailer wasn’t *that* intense. Lol.
It’s totally cool if you like him, Maya. I’ve just never been a fan, nor will I ever be. I never liked the song “Ring of Fire.” And then Adam’s version just scared me. I can’t help it if he scares me, ya know. Different strokes for different people.
Ew, and what is up with these smilies?
Ew-y.
They changed the smilies. I hate it. Another reason to move to Blogger.
And, Jess, of course people would see this; some of us don’t boycott Google Reader.
Anyway…shirtless Taylor Lautner…*giggles* I like Jacob and Edward until they start speaking. Then I wish they would just shut up.
New Moon is going to make me laugh so hard. Hopefully, there will be anti-Twilight people at school…it would be fun to see the movie with them.
We watched Barney. I’m not exactly sure why. I’ve so moved on.
I have never heard Adam Lambert sing. Nor have I ever watched American Idol. I am so awesome, aren’t I?
Haggis is gross….
Love Adam’s RoF. It is a rock version which is very very nice. Mr. Cash is a rebel, he will not mind Adam singing RoF the way he sang it in idol. Adam is great! Go Lambert!
Thank you, Anilee, for that quote. “I like Jacob and Edward until they start speaking. Then I wish they would just shut up.” hahaha.
Eh, I like Adam, I LOVED Ring of Fire, but sometimes he does scare me, too, heh. He’s cool, though, and has amazing vocals.
New Moon trailer = hilarity. I wish all we LittleRedders could go together to see it in theaters. Everyone else watching would hate us, though, laughing at all the wrong times.
Bad icky smilies…Gah. I don’t boycott Google Reader. I just don’t use it.
Dude, you are so awesome, Anilee..
All the LRRH-ers should go see it together. That would be so epic. All the laughing…
Speaking of boycotting google reader… You should use it. It’s awesome.
I don’t even know you and have never seen your blog b4 but this came up in my google alert “Adam Lambert” which I am, of course, a HUGE fan and I was going to tweet this URL tagged @adamlambert and unleash his 100,000+ followers on your negative comment about our Adam, but I see some of your readers disagreed so I guess I’ll move on to other alerts…for those of you who DO love Adam…if you think RoF was hot check out the vids of his tour set on YT….the Bowie Medley is to die for!!! Adam is well on his way to becoming a world-wide bona-fide superstar!
Oh, Danielle! We need you to get Jess to use Google Reader!
And it’s totally true. Maybe I should watch Twilight on mute….oh wait. Taylor looks terrible in that one. Darn.
Um, thanks, Steph, for feeling that I should not be allowed to have a different opinion from you.
The long hair, Anilee!
It is a TERRIBLE wig that they forced onto poor Taylor Lautner’s head. I wonder if they added a clause in his contract so he couldn’t get out of it because I seriously don’t know why he ever agreed to be filmed in that thing.
Adam Lambert’s appearance frightens me too.
You’ve gotta love the eyebrow twitch. I cracked up the first time, and then watched it over and over.
I don’t know, Jess. Adam Lambert singing Ring of Fire is pretty darn sexy. Or at least he looks like he’s trying to be.
Maribeth and Maya, I love ya’ll but you’re kind of creeping me out
Anyhoo… I will try Madison. Jess, use Google Reader. I didn’t and now I actually find it highly convenient. You know when people post. You only have to add certain people. It’s a good thing.
Hey Jess. Just saw this-I’m so glad you’re back!
Also, I third the awesomeness of Google Reader. It is very convenient as long as, you know, you check it regularly *ahem* unlike me.
