The Evils of Clothes Shopping October 21, 2007

I went clothes shopping with one of my friends a few days ago. It was going normal-we browsed stores, ate dinner in the food court, took pictures in a photo booth. We wandered into American Eagle and were looking at jeans. We grabbed a couple pairs each and went to the fitting rooms. I finished first and waited around for her to try on her last pair. She walked out of the stall and asked me what I thought. I told her that the jeans she had on were cute. Just then a sales lady walked up to us and tells us that she recommends we get a smaller size. We looked at her for a second then asked why. The lady told us that skin tight jeans were in and looser ones weren’t. We told her that we liked our jeans looser then the lady rolled her eyes and walked away.

Sheesh, what is with that? What does that lady care if we don’t wear the type of jeans she thinks we should wear. I suppose we’ll only be “cool” if we copy what everybody else does. Grrr, people like that sales lady drive me crazy.

Were they like really loose or something, or just normal….that’s weird I wonder why she even cared.

AE can be really annoying. They asked me if I wanted thongish underwear. I was incidentally carrying a huge borders bag. I was like, “look at me!” and I walked away.

Hey, that’s really stupid about the jeans. She just wanted to sell them.

Ugh, I really don’t like tight jeans. I’m with you, I like them a bit looser. People like that are really annoying.
